Join One-On-One Yoga studio owner Olga Campora, PhD, E-RYT 500, a yoga teacher for over 35 years of teaching experience for an early weekend June 4th through 6th, 2020 (Thursday through Saturday) for a yoga retreat at the beautiful Blue Mountain Retreat Center in Knoxville, MD. 


Employing a combination of yoga, meditation, firesides, and other exercises, Olga will be thrilled to have you join her for this amazing retreat. In addition to wonderful and various body-soul nurturing yoga practices, she will be teaching the participants about 10 STEPS TO FEEL BETTER.  


Over the past 35 years, Olga has not only practiced and taught yoga but has studied how to manage the mind.  She will share how to handle and understand fear and anxiety. You will also learn how to manage your thinking, simplify your life; and honor yourself by making decisions ahead of time, choosing joy over pleasure and many other helpful practices that can shift your current perspective into living truly an amazing life--no matter what's happening around you.

An early weekend like this allows you to get away from the daily grind of work, family, and other obligations. You have the opportunity to focus on your well-being, and start to ask and answer important questions in life.

Blue Mountain is convenient to both Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD – about 75 minutes total driving time – yet, after you arrive and settle in, you will feel like you have been transported to the middle of the forest. The secret is the 27 acres of mostly wooded land, just a mile downhill from the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers and the C & O Canal. The surrounding woods and water make for a peaceful winter getaway.

If the weather cooperates, you can take a hike on the nearby Appalachian Trail or go next door for a horseback ride. You can cozy up to one of the fireplaces, or connect with Blue Mountain owner Beth Ehrhardt, a licensed massage therapist, for some relaxing body work.

The retreat center shares 27 acres of property with Ehrhardt Organic Farm, which has been selling high quality, organic berries, vegetables, herbs and flowers to restaurants, farmer’s markets and through their CSA (community-supported agriculture) since 1981. Beth prepares delicious, organic home-cooked meals, sourced from her farm as much as possible, to retreat participants. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Therapeutic massage appointments are available on-site by a licensed massage therapist upon request. Massage cost is $80/hour.  (Appointments made and charged separately).

Registration includes 3 days/2 nights of Yoga (6 classes total), Meditation, Firesides, Relaxation, outdoor walking, companionship and great food.

No Yoga experience is required.  Register as soon as the registration date opens to guarantee your spot.

Daily Schedule

The daily schedule shows what the rhythm of your stay will be like. Besides doing yoga, meditation and participating in firesides, you will have plenty of time to enjoy meals, nature walks and companionship.


3:00-4:00 PM: Arrival

4:15 – 6:00 PM: Hatha Yoga –Nurturing and Fun Yoga Class for all levels

6:30 PM: Organic, home cooked dinner

8:00 PM: 30 min Intro to Meditation (great for both beginners and seasoned meditation practitioners)

8:30 PM: Evening Fireside 10 Steps to Feeling Better , Part #1

10:00 PM: Lights out/ quiet time

Evening sessions will start when dinner clean-up is done. We ask that you respect quiet time in the bedroom after 10:00 PM, and if conversing in the living room/kitchen area, please keep your voices down so as not to disturb people in nearby rooms.

AFTERNOON: free for indoor and outdoor activities

4:30 PM            Yin and Sound Bath Yoga Class (90 min)

6:30 PM:           Organic, home cooked dinner

7:45 PM            Guided Meditation and Breathing Practice (30 min)

8:30 PM:           Evening Fireside, 10 Steps to Feeling Better , Part #2

Props, yoga blankets, belts, etc., are available free of charge on site. Bring your own yoga mat and 2 blocks. If you own a bolster, please bring it.

No refunds are possible after May 4th. $160 of your fee is considered a down payment and is non-refundable at any time, though if you find another person (same-gender, please, if in a shared room) to take your spot, we can offer a transfer of that credit once. An early bird discount goes until APRIL 1ST. After April 1st, prices go up $50.

The early bird discount expires on April 1st.  After April 1st, prices go up $100.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 100% deposit refund for cancellation 30+ days before event.

  • 50% deposit refund for cancellation 15-29 days before event.

  • 0% deposit refund for cancellation 0-14 days before event.

Price includes two nights lodging, all meals and classes. Lodging -fresh bed linens, quilts and towels are provided. You will sleep on ultra-comfortable European-style platform twin beds with high quality mattresses.

Retreat FAQs:

– I don’t want to share a room, what do I do?
Register ASAP. There are only two Private Rooms, and they go fast every year. If you are open at all to sharing a room, the retreat participants tend to be quiet, and respectful, and it’s only 2 nights! There are white noise machines in each of the rooms.

– I’ve got food allergies and / or specific food needs. Will I be hungry?
Definitely not! You’ll be in heaven. Because all food is made on site and made specifically for our group, we can accommodate almost any needs / gluten or grain free / vegan, and more). Please be in touch with me directly if you have any questions. I’d be happy to have you participate in planning the meals.

Can I bring my spouse / family to simply stay onsite with me?
Feel free to reach out and ask about your unique circumstances, but right now, this is only possible only if each person staying on site is registered for the retreat and paying for the full retreat. Note: all beds are twin beds, the private rooms are designed for 1 person.

– I feel out of shape, will I be able to keep up?
Yes, you’ve got this. The retreat will include nurturing mobility, fascia release, walks and hikes (weather permitting) and some vigorous and gentle yoga. Participate as much or as little as you like, and cheer on those with more vigorous approach than you. Start the holiday season with healthy movement.
