Class #1- TRIKONASANA Clinic

What do poses like upavistha konasana (wide-legged seated forward bend), prasarita padottanasana (wide-legged standing forward bend) baddha konasana (bound angle pose), jathara parivartanasan (belly revolving pose), and vrksasana (tree pose) have to do with trikonasana (triangle pose)?  This 90-min alignment-focused practice, is designed to give you a deeper understanding of this foundational asana.

Class #2- INNER AND OUTER HIPS RELEASE CLINIC

The leg-stretching sequence (which you'll do entirely on your back) will help you find deep release in your inner and outer hips, hamstrings, and along the spine. The alignment principles provided will also help you to stay fully engaged as you stretch and discover more ease and openness in your body.

Class #3: Shoulder Mobility Clinic

In this Shoulder Mobility Clinic we will work deeply through the musculature and fascia of the forearms and upper arms. Touch on many of the muscles in and around the shoulder girdle including the pectoralis muscles. Finally, we will pay attention to the neck region for a tension release.

Class #4: Foundational Backbends:

Locust, Camel, and Bridge Clinic

This yoga class practice is a comprehensive exploration of backbend fundamentals that includes pose breakdowns of half locust, locust, camel, and more. This will provide both a roadmap for beginners and an in-depth breakdown for advanced yogis who are looking to refine their practice.

Classes #5-6: Abdominal Strength Clinic

Core strength is essential for yogis! As a yogi, you know core strength is everything. But how do we access our deep transverse abdominals (the ones that power inversions and dives) without straining the head, neck and shoulders?  One of the most powerful yoga sequences, for finding the strength to break bad habits is a series of 13 poses called the Advanced Abdominal Strengthening Kriya. In part, this combination of movements and breathwork gives you an exceptional core workout. On a deeper level, it activates the energy center at your navel that is the source of willpower, where transformation and empowerment start. When this energy vortex is active and balanced, you feel grounded; the need to reach outside yourself to feel better is quieted.
